Jurgita has been a dedicated member of the Diskusija family for over 16 years. She began her journey as a Vendor Manager, quickly proved her skills in project management, and now takes the lead in business development, truly keeping her finger on the company’s pulse. With more than 25 years of experience in sales, she effortlessly communicates with clients, vendors, and team members. Her genuine interest in people and her positive attitude shine through in all her interactions. Whether at conferences, exhibitions, or deep in the woods, Jurgita is always on the move. Nature is her sanctuary; she finds joy in exploring it on her bicycle or cross-country skis. For Jurgita, life without the wild simply wouldn’t be the same!

Rasa is Diskusija’s Operations Manager and has been here since 2013, working previously as a project manager. She knows every client and vendor, and all of their deepest darkest secrets. She’s the person you go to when you don’t know how to use a new translation platform, how to respond to a confusing message from a client or which approach to use when interacting with providers. Most clients would say that Rasa really puts her heart into everything she does and is always ready to go the extra mile.

Roberta is a big fan of the translation industry. She started her career by translating film subtitles while still in high school and went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree in translation. She gained international experience in translation project management and now applies all these tricks in her everyday work. Roberta has a unique personality that can spice things up in the workplace. At times there’s hard-working Roberta and then there’s let’s-have-a-chat Roberta. Outside of the office, she is a city girl who loves to travel, be outdoors and meet new people along the way.

Meet Justė, whose globe-trotting spirit and deep appreciation for diverse cultures brings a wealth of international experience. Having lived in multiple countries, she has developed a profound love for languages and the unique stories they tell. With her infectious positivity and curiosity, Justė thrives on exploring the world, whether attending a cultural event, snowboarding down the slopes, or hiking through the mountains, she finds inspiration everywhere, always thinking outside the box to bring fresh and exciting ideas!

Asta Rusakevičienė is the founder of Diskusija, the face and voice of the company, the keeper of keys, the repository of values and the apostle of team spirit. As she’s been heading up the company from the very beginning, Asta knows and is responsible for all the processes happening at Diskusija from employee recruitment and organising company trips and gatherings to making sure client needs are properly met. Very strict and professional at work, yet knows how to unwind after the end of a hard day. Some of her favourite activities are mountain hiking, skiing and biking; she is also actively engaged in exploring various countries and getting to know different cultures.

Ieva joined Diskusija in 2013 with the ambition of building strong relationships with potential and existing partners. She has a degree in philology and almost a decade of experience working with international clients. Ieva loves to connect with people, to get to the heart of the issue and find solutions to even the most complicated problems. Her keen eye for detail combined with creativity and a natural desire to help ensures that all components are there to make things work. Ieva is one of many book-lovers in our team, but also has a passion for animals, martial arts and spending time with family and friends.

Some stories come full circle, and this one we’re especially excited to share! Anastasija first joined the Diskusija team back in April 2008, where she quickly made her mark as a Project Manager. But life had other plans, leading her to take on a new adventure. Over the years, she skillfully balanced her passion for language, working as a trusted freelance translator and reviewer for Diskusija. Now, she’s back in a new chapter as our Vendor Manager. Her journey reflects resilience, a love for language, and unwavering dedication — she’s truly one to see things through to the end, no matter the challenges. An eternal optimist, Anastasija brings color (quite literally!) into our lives with her ever-changing bright hair and infectious energy. When she’s not hard at work, you’ll find her lost in a good book, pampering her beloved cats, or simply enjoying the little things in life. 

Drawing on a diverse background that spans in Life Sciences, Scandinavian Studies, and Project Management, Lukas plays an essential role in the Diskusija team. As your dedicated contact, he brings clear communication, a structured approach, and a keen attention to detail to every project. Lukas takes ownership of each assignment, ensuring your projects not only meet expectations but are completed with efficiency and precision.

With a Master’s degree in English Philology and International Communication, Magdalena brings a rich blend of linguistic expertise and cultural insight to her role at Diskusija. Her keen eye for detail and passion for connecting people through language ensure every project runs smoothly, delivering results that truly resonate with our clients. Outside of work, Magdalena loves exploring new places, staying active with pilates, and unwinding with a great movie or series. Her curiosity and love for new experiences inspire her both professionally and personally, adding a dynamic touch to every project she takes on.

Meet Anastasia, our dynamic team member from Lebanon, whose passion for languages and cultures shines through her role. With a Bachelor's degree in Translation, she developed a strong foundation in linguistic precision and cultural nuance, skills that are crucial in her current position. Building on this, she pursued a Master’s degree in English Studies, where she honed her analytical skills and deepened her understanding of language intricacies - insights she now brings to managing projects with expertise and attention to detail. Beyond her professional life, she in a avid sports enthusiast, with her adventurous spirit and eclectic taste in music infusing a creative and vibrant energy into our team.

Rasa has been Diskusija’s in-house editor since 2003, so she’s been with the company through thick and thin. She has a background in geography, but decided to dedicate herself to languages and is especially fond of her native Lithuanian language. Rasa is a walking dictionary – she always has some useful tips to offer or interesting facts to share. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, going to the cinema and participating in quizzes – a good way to broaden your horizons.
